Dedicated to the memory of Nick Hawkins
This site is a tribute to my dad, Nick Hawkins, who died in January 2023. He was a lifelong vegetarian and environmentalist. He dedicated his life to finding solutions to the climate crisis. I hope that donations to Practical Action, founded by the radical economist E.F. ‘Fritz’ Schumacher, can help to find solutions to the kinds of problems, such as clean energy and food supplies, that my dad worried about.
